PCB Chief Plans Efforts to Bring Crowds Back to PSL

Pakistan Cricket Board Mohsin Naqvi has said he will make full efforts to bring crowds back to PSL. He made this statement while speaking to media in Karachi. Moreover, he said he will discuss the matter with the Prime Minister.

He explained that decisions about crowd attendance will depend on the global and security situation. Therefore, he said he will consult Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif before final approval. In addition, he stressed that bringing fans back remains a top priority.

Furthermore, Mohsin Naqvi said that the government, along with the army leadership, is working for peace in the country. He added that holding PSL matches under current conditions is a major achievement for law enforcement agencies. As a result, the league continues successfully despite challenges.

He also stated that if spectators are not allowed in stadiums, the PCB and franchises will cover gate money losses themselves. However, he clarified that if permission is granted, the schedule will not be changed. This ensures stability for teams and organizers.

Finally, he addressed rumors related to his role in the ICC and said he already has multiple responsibilities. Overall, PCB chief plans efforts to bring crowds back to PSL, showing commitment to improving fan engagement and strengthening Pakistan cricket.
